Top 11 Yojanas Launched by Prime Minister Modi

PM Modi has launched some of great schemes since he took office in 2014. These schemes are not only good for different sections of society but for the whole country. Some of the mentioned schemes in the list are well received by the people and some of them are still evolving.

These schemes cover all aspects of our lives from technology to girl child to senior citizen to farmers.

So let us see top 11 schemes initiated by PM Modi.

1. Digital India Program

Digital India program was launched on July 1 2015 to empower the citizen of India. The main goal of this program was citizens of this country are able to access all the government services electronically. People must get all the benefits of the government, latest information and complete transparency from the part of the government.

Digital India has been well received by the people.

2. Make in India

Make in India was launched in September 2014. The idea behind Make In India was to make India hub of manufacturing.

Make in India will help multinational and national companies to invest in the country. It will help us to manufacture everything indigenously rather importing from other countries.

There is also criticism of Make in India by some economist.

3. Beti Bachao Beti Padhao

This program was launched in January 2015. The main focus of this program was to educate girl child.

Education of a girl child can change the whole society for good. Sukanya Samridhi Yojana is part of this scheme that takes care of girl’s education as well as her marriage.

Parents with girl child must invest in this program.

4. Skill India

The skill was launched on July 15th of 2015 to equip Indian labor force with all the necessary skills that they need.

Skill India will focus on the human resource or capital of the country. Skill in India is one the major weapon fighting poverty in the country.

The aim of the program is to equip around 40 Crore people with all the necessary skills by 2022.

5. Smart City Mission

Smart city project will revamp 98 cities of the country. PM Modi has already allocated Rs 48,000 crore for the smart city project.

If India has to become modern then its cities also have to become modern. Otherwise you can’t achieve the economic growth.

India lacks modern cities so we need such kind of schemes.

6. Atal Pension Yojana

Atal Pension Yojana scheme will provide pension to senior citizens once they are 60 years old. The scheme is very important because life insurance companies do not focus on unorganized sectors.

So this plan will help people of age 18 years to 40 years who come from unorganized sectors.

7. Pradhan Mantri Suraksha Bima Yojana

This is another insurance plan which was launched in the year May 9 2015.

If people from the age 18 years invest in this scheme then they will receive a lump sum of Rs 2 lacs if they are dead in an accident and in case of partial injury they get Rs 1 lac.

8. Pradhan Mantri Jeevan Jyoti Bima Yojana

The third pension scheme launched by PM Modi is Pradhan Mantri Jeevan Bima Yojana.

According to this scheme if you pay a premium of just Rs 330 per year then you will receive a life insurance of worth Rs 2 lacs in the end.

9. Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana

Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana was launched on June 25 2015. This scheme focuses on affordable housing for all Indians.

Around 305 cities were identified by the government for the implementation of this scheme.

Housing for All Scheme will elevate living conditions in India.

10.Gold Monetization Scheme

Gold Monetization scheme was launched by PM Modi on November 5 2015.

It will help to monetize the gold worth Rs 60 lakh crore held by Indian households, temples, banks and various institutions.

The scheme was launched along with sovereign bonds and the Indian gold coins.

11.One Rank One Pension Scheme

One rank one pension scheme has a long story and it can be told here. Government will spend around Rs 8000 Crore to Rs 10,000 Crore to implement One Rank One Pension Scheme.

Government announced that the scheme will be implemented from July 1 2014.

So these were top 11 plans launched by PM Modi. Although there are many other plans which we left out but these 11 are the best of them.
